Pounded yam and egusi soup
To prepare pounded yam and egusi soup, follow these steps:
1. Pounded Yam:
- Peel and cut yam into chunks.
- Boil the yam in a pot until soft.
- Drain the yam and transfer to a mortar and pestle.
- Pound the yam with a pestle until it forms a smooth dough-like consistency.
2. Egusi Soup:
- Grind egusi seeds and set aside.
